God’s Administration – Part 5

rejoiceAt the end of the age of grace, unbelievers will organize a major revolt against the rule of God. (Rev 16:12-16; Rev 19:19)

At the second coming of Christ, He will end this rebellion against God’s rule and will establish His kingdom. The wicked will be removed to judgment while the righteous will remain on earth to enter into the 1,000 year reign of Christ on the earth. (Matt 24:36-42; Rev 20:1-6) This seventh dispensation is often referred to as the Millennial Kingdom.

The major ruling factor during this dispensation will be the righteous rule of Christ over all the earth. Jesus Christ will restore God’s theocratic kingdom which existed on earth prior to the fall of man. (Acts 3:19-21) During this time, many old testament prophesies and promises will be fulfilled concerning Israel and her Messiah. (Gen 8:19; Psalm 105:8-11; 132:11,13,14; Dan 2:35,44; Is 2:1-4; Is 9:6,7; 11:6-9; 32:1; 54:3; 65:20-25; Jer 3:17,18; 23:5,6; 32:37-44; Ez 34:25-30; 37:21-28; Hos 14:4-7; Joel 3:20,21; Amos 9:13-15; Micah 4:1-3, Zeph 3:14-20, Zech 7:3; 8:22,23)

At the end of the thousand years, Satan is released and “will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.” (Rev 20:8)

This final revolt of man under the righteous rule of Christ demonstrates that man’s failure is due to his rebellious sinful nature to the rule of God even under the most perfect conditions. God sends down fire from heaven, killing the rebels. The devil is thrown into the lake of fire and the final chapter of world history is completed. (Rev 20:9,10)
